Mr. Paul Pierre comes to Endeavor International School after nearly sixteen years of teaching experiences, both locally and internationally. Mr. Pierre, who is a native of Guyana South America, has always demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence in the area of Natural and Biological Sciences. He graduated with a Diploma in General Agricultural Science from the Guyana School of Agriculture, a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry Science from the University of Guyana, a Graduate Teaching certificate from Wheeling Jesuit University, and a Masters in Science Education from Montana State University. He also holds a Montessori Adolescent Teaching Certification.

Mr. Pierre is experienced in teaching in a cross-cultural and cross-ethnic setting. He has ten years of teaching in the area of Chemistry, Biology, General Sciences, and Agriculture Science at the secondary level. He has taught Sciences in South America, the Caribbean, and The United States. Mr. Pierre’s teaching philosophy is focused on a student-centered approach in which students are treated as individuals with ideas and issues who deserve careful attention and consideration in the learning process.

Besides his professional career in academia, he is also a member of various organizations such as the National Science Teacher Association, Association of Chemistry teachers, and North America Montessori Teacher Association. Mr. Pierre enjoys traveling, swimming, and nature-based activities in his free time.
